School Discounts

What is it?
We are setting up a discount program for PTAs, parents and teachers to purchase classroom supplies such as construction paper, writing paper, newsprint and other basics. This way we can help schools that may no longer have access to supplies they need due to budget cut-backs.

Who Qualifies?
We would like to have local schools and/or PTAs designate a parent or small number of parents to be our registered buyer for the school. That person would be the schools agent entitled to buy at a discounted price on behalf of that school. As soon as a school registers an agent (or agents) that person can begin buying from us at the discounted price.

What is the Discount?
We anticipate most schools will need items like paper, paint, glue, poster board, science boards and general craft supplies. Purchases from our regular stock of supplies will be discounted 30%. Other items may be a discounted on a per item basis, depending on what they are.

How do we pay?
We are able to accept purchase orders from PTAs or Schools. A designated purchaser can also use any of our regular payment methods. We cannot accept scrip for the discounted materials.

This program is evolving, and we will let you know of any changes or improvements we make to the program. The Golden Apple is negotiating difficult economic times along with everyone else. We would love to, but cannot afford to provide a general discount on all our products for schools. We hope this offer helps bridge the gap until proper funding for schools is restored.
