What are the differences between Summer Bridge and Summertime Learning?

Summer Bridge is the original Summer Workbook. Originally published in 1994, it is now in its 12th edition. It underwent major revisions in 2002. Summertime Learning is new in 2010 from Teacher Created Resources.
We have offered TCR Mastering Skills Workbooks, a Standard's Based Grade Level Curriculum for several years.

Kids get a free Iwako eraser when they get their summer workbook, and they get another eraser when they finish half of their summer book. These erasers are a huge hit, and a sure-fire motivator for summer learning. Parents can also register for our Summer Rewards enews and get more tips and activities that will keep kids learning all summer!

Summer Bridge books include 150 pages with flash cards in the back. A Sampler (pdf) is available here!
Summertime Learning books are about 120 pages. Both books include answer keys. SB is full color, SL is black & white reproducible.
Each book has two daily pages of practice in subjects including reading, math, handwriting, spelling and language skills

  


The Golden Apple is fortunate to have Gayla Peek working at our store in Pleasanton. Gayla recently retired from a lifetime classroom teaching position and brings an amazing amount of experience to our store.
